Dead skin cells accumulate due to pressure and friction from ordinary activities such as standing, exercising, and wearing shoes. Baby Foot can help to clear that dead skin away without the use of files and razors. The key to Baby Foot is the natural fruit extracts that break down the desmosomes, which hold the layers together, allowing the dead skin to painlessly peel away from the baby soft skin underneath.
Baby Foot contains 16 kinds of natural extracts which have a high moisturizing power and astringency, thus the sole becomes smooth after peeling. Baby Foot not only peels the dead skin cells from your feet, it also maintains the grain of the skin and moisturizes.
These are the 16 Natural Extracts in Baby Foot:
- Burdock Root
- Horsetail Herb
- Chameleon Flower
- Tea Plant
- Camel Grass
Summer isn’t over yet, have you made it to the beach? Here are our top beach must haves:
The ultimate beach essential (after you get your feet ready with Baby Foot of course!) Not only will you be wearing them to keep your feet protected from the hot sand, you will want to invest in a comfy pair for walking down the boardwalk and around town. We love flopZ
for their spa like feel (think mini foot massage in a shoe).
Just because you’re not wearing a full outfit doesn’t mean you can’t accessorize…in fact, we encourage it! An anklet (like this one
from Sterling Forever is great). A delicate necklace or fun bracelet are also great compliments to beach ware.
We love a beach towel that is plush and actually big enough to lay on, like this one
from Land’s End.
We love the 31 Gifts utility tote
because it is big enough to hold ALL your essentials, and then some (bonus: it can be personalized!)
Some other things to remember:
Snacks that won’t melt
Don’t forget to touch up that pedi before you leave, here is an easy one you can DIY. Have fun and if you want a head start on getting all the essentials start with our Summer Box
, it has Baby Foot, sandals from flopZ, anklet from Sterling Forever and nail polish from LVX.
The temps are warming up and you might be cleaning out clutter and giving your house a deep clean. This is also a great time clean out that make-up drawer.
Toss all the brushes you no longer use.
Give all your remaining brushes a good bath. Mix 2 parts antibacterial dish soap with 1 part olive oil. Rinse the brushes with warm water then dip them in the soap/oil mixture and rub into
the brush until the suds are makeup free. Rinse all soap and oil from the brushes and allow to dry. When cleaning and drying the brushes do it with the bristles angled down so the water doesn’t seep into the handle.
After all the brushes are dry get them organized. Some great options are rotating caddy’s or a few short square glass vases filled with a layer of small pebbles in the bottom to help the brushes stand upright.
Toss your old make-up, if you aren’t sure how if you should toss or not here are some good dates to print and keep handy.
- Powder blush, bronzer and eye shadows 2 years
- Cream eye shadow and blush 12-18 months
- Oil-free foundation 1 year
- Concealer 18 months
- Lip stick 1 year
- Lip gloss 2 years
- Pencil eye liner 2 years
- Gel eye liner 3 months
- Mascara 3 months
If you found that after going through the makeup you don’t know when you purchased consider keeping a permanent marker in your make up drawer so you can mark when you opened or write the date the makeup would need to be tossed.
To organize your make up you can use the small glass vases with pebbles or acrylic desk organizers if you keep your makeup in a drawer. Another space saving idea is to mount a cookie sheet or magnetic board and put magnets on back of makeup.
One of the most versatile beauty products can be found right in the produce aisle. Here are just a few ways you can use lemons as part of your beauty routine.
Even Skin Tone
If you notice the skin on your knees or elbows is dark rub half a lemon on them to even out your skin tone.
Lemon is great at removing dead skin cells, rub a little lemon juice on your lips before bed and wash it off in the morning.
Mix olive oil and lemon juice and soak nails to strengthen them and fade any yellowing that may have occurred from polish wear.
Prevent Oily Skin
Rub a cotton swab with lemon juice over your face before bed to help prevent oily skin. Rinse it off in the morning. Lemons have antibacterial qualities so this may also help with breakouts.
A mixture of lemon juice and baking soda can serve as a teeth whitener, only leave the solution on a minute to avoid the acid weakening the enamel of your teeth.
Bonus: Lemon extract is one of the 17 natural extracts in BabyFoot, helping to break down those dead skin cells to reveal the baby soft feet underneath.
